Prenatal & Postpartum Yoga.

Studies show that yoga, especially for those who are pregnant, has many benefits for both the body and mind. Practicing prenatal yoga helps prepare your body for childbirth by toning your pelvic floor, core abdominal muscles and lower back. Yoga teaches your mind how to relax, decrease anxiety and reduce pain by training your breath. Improved sleep, reduced back pain, increased strength and endurance are all side effects of prenatal yoga practice. Yoga is also very beneficial during the postpartum period by helping speed recovery time, reduce stress and fatigue and improve neck, shoulder and back pain that usually results from continuously feeding and holding your baby.

​I offer both private and group yoga classes. Private classes are taught in the comfort of your own home and are specifically tailored for your body's needs. I will instruct you how to safely perform many different beneficial postures and breathing techniques and can even include ways for your partner to assist you in your practice.

​Single Individual Private Class $38- One hour and fifteen minutes of one on one pre or postnatal yoga, focusing specifically on what you feel you need support with the most (back pain, anxiety, pelvic floor, hip opening, etc.) in the comfort of your own home, including techniques for your partner to use with you at home or during labor. This service can be purchased solo or as an add on with any additional service I offer.

​Three Individual Private Classes $108 - Three one hour and fifteen minute one on one pre or postnatal yoga classes. Each session will be different, but still with a focus on your specific needs.

​Five Individual Private Classes $178 - Five one hour and fifteen minute one on one yoga classes, still with a focus on your body's needs. This group of five classes can be split any way to include both pre and postnatal classes. For example, three prenatal classes and two postnatal.

​Studio Group Classes - Currently, I teach community vinyasa classes and restorative classes at Balance Yoga Wellness + Ayurveda. Group prenatal yoga classes are to be announced!
